This wood box is great for storing your jewelry! It's also makes a great gift! It's compact size makes it great for holding little odds and ends in a small space like the bathroom. The design on the lid is hand painted in Indonesia. The overall size of this box is 10cm across by 5.5cm tall. The inside dimensions are about 7.5cm across by 3.5cm deep.

Like one of the other reviewers I wasn't very pleased with the quality of this box. The top design is nice, however, there are some strange bumps leading me to believe it was a decal rather then hand painted. Also I hate the cheap paper sticker on the inside of the box. Yes it is a cheap paper sticker not a wood-burned design like the photos show. Its poorly glued down and has many wrinkles and air pockets. Glad I got this on sale and didn't waste more then a couple dollars.
Editor's Note: The product photo does not show a wood burned design. If you view the larger picture, you can see a wrinkle in the paper. Also, you can see brush strokes in the paint on the lids, they are definitely not decals. Hand made items are not perfect because humans are not perfect.

I was disappointed in the quality of the box, the top paint? was raised in spots, and the inside logo had a few large air pockets under the paper. other then the quality, its a lovely box and ill be using it for all my carved wood jewelry :)
