This is a great captive with an amazing shine. The bead is really easy to get on and off and is a rather unobtrusive size. It looks great in my septum.

It was super hard for me to get the ball out of this without needle nosed pliers! It also was an extremely small one, so that might have been the problem, too. Other than that, it was great because I have a problem with the balls falling out and that didn't happen because this one was so tight.

If you're in the market for captive bead rings, the Industrial Strength brand is definitely worth the money. It *does* cost a little more that some of the other brands, but the quality is worth spending the extra money. The jewelry is annealed, which means that its very easy to open to get the bead into. The finish on this jewelry is perfect. There are no scratches, nicks, or burrs, and they slide in effortlessly. There is no gap between the bead and the ring, and I have never had issues with losing a bead with this brand. Please note ... unless you have a lot of strength in your hands, you will probably need ring opening and ring closing pliers to work these rings.
